Meet Yashira Melendez, ACC
Hi, I’m Yashy!
Born in Puerto Rico and raised in the Bronx, I’m proud to be a Nuyorican—fluent in both English and Spanish, and deeply connected to travel from an early age. Growing up, travel was a part of my life, from summers in Puerto Rico to family vacations that sparked my love for exploring new places. I spent years in the medical field before realizing my passion was somewhere else entirely. In 2019, I took a leap and built YMG Travels, and over the past several years, that passion has grown into something so much bigger.
What started with theme parks and family vacations has evolved into a true love for cruising and European travel, backed by real, firsthand experiences.
Today, I bring that experience to every trip I create — planning and managing vacations that are seamless, elevated, and actually worth your time and investment. My goal is simple: to take the pressure off you and create a trip you can feel confident about from start to finish. Because when it’s done right, all you have to do is pack and go.

Meet Katherine Rubí Bonilla
Hello, I’m Katherine!
I’ve always been curious about the world and everything it has to offer. Traveling, for me, is more than just visiting new places—it’s about experiencing different cultures, connecting with people, and truly understanding the beauty of how others live. That passion is what inspired me to turn travel into something more meaningful and help others experience it too.
Alongside travel, I work as a social worker, supporting children, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities. That role has shaped who I am—it’s taught me how to listen, care deeply, and advocate for others. I bring that same level of intention and attention into every trip I plan. I joined the travel industry because I believe everyone deserves to experience those once-in-a-lifetime moments. What may feel out of reach can become completely possible with the right guidance, and that’s exactly what I’m here to provide.
My travel style is versatile—I love a relaxing getaway just as much as I love exploring a new city, taking in the architecture, history, and energy of each destination. Cruises will always have my heart, especially for the way they allow you to experience multiple places in one unforgettable trip.
